Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Much of hell-i-sion is pornographic with its innuendos, whoremongers rolling around in the bed, etc. The Devil, who is the prince of the power of the air is using the airwaves to the hilt. Please don't think for one second that hellivision news casts are giving you the important news or even telling you the whole truth. Satan is the father of lies, don't think his children are telling you the truth.
A Christian brother sent me his testimony concerning hellivision and I am glad about it. He has graciously given us permission to reprint it here. May many be rebuked through this email for partaking in the devil's kingdom. There is too much pressing business to be done in the midst of this dark generation--professed Christians sit in their dark rooms doing the same thing as the devil's children. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. How can a Christian be comfortable sitting down listening to cussing, watching whoremongers, filling themselves up with foolish jesting, watching sorcery? Don't think that the Spirit of the living God is not there seeing it all. Salvation is a FREE gift, but the grace that bringeth salvation TEACHES YOU to DENY ungodliness and worldly lusts. It teaches us that we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world--see Titus chapter 2. If you've tasted of His grace, it does not teach you to watch hellivision. To the contrary, it teaches you to DENY IT.
Those Christians that watch it are listening to their flesh, the devil and world. Romans chapter 1:28-32 says you are reprehensible because you are taking pleasure in those that do wickedly. This scripture reads like a synopsis of hellivision:
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being FILLED with all
- unrighteousness,
- fornication,
- wickedness,
- covetousness,
- maliciousness;
- full of envy,
- murder,
- debate,
- deceit,
- malignity;
- whisperers,
- Backbiters,
- haters of God,
- despiteful,
- proud,
- boasters,
- inventors of evil things,
- disobedient to parents,
- Without understanding,
- covenantbreakers,
- without natural affection,
- implacable,
- unmerciful:
[And here's the kicker] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but HAVE PLEASURE IN THEM THAT DO THEM.
I call it hellivision because when I see it, it is hell I vision. It has all the fruits of hell. ALL manner of evil is extoled and placed out for young children and the whole world to see. It is sorcery and Christians get mad at you for even exposing this ugly, hideous thing that they are partaking in. And they have the nerve to wonder why they have no power. My husband challenged the church to turn it off for a week and there were complaints galore! Them tv devils get stirred up 'cause they don't want professed Christians to come out of their complacency and intimacy with the devil. They've been effectively neutralized.
To My Sister in Christ I am writing this letter as a praise report and also a response. The last Newsletter that you sent out was talking about the dangers of television. I myself can confess that the television has such an affect on a person. I was at the age of exploration I guess you could say, (my teenage years). It was then I wandered what it was like to watch a rated R movie. Little did I know that it would be harmful. It really was. This one movie led to an addiction to pornography. Not a good thing. At this time I was not a christian, however I knew it wasn't right because I had been raised in church. After a year I gave my heart to Christ It was the greatest joy of my life. I was never the same again. Then after a couple of years I entered high school, I had non christian friends who had the same trouble that I did. It sure didn't help I ended up back in the same shape. Finally I couldn't take it no longer and gave it all to God. I asked him to take it all away from me. Praise God he did just as he always promised. Since then I haven't even had the urge for pornography. What most see as not harmless at all becomes one of the worst things in the world. It pulls us away from God. Television does it quicker than just about anything. Now I have accepted God's call for me into full-time ministry. So I ask that you pray for me.
