I am just writing to thank you for the article on the deletions in the
modern versions of the Bible. If you can even call them that. I went out and
bought a KJAV after reading the praises of it on another lovely sisters
sight and began reading it IMMEDIATLY. It has been the most wonderful
blessing ever. I had intended to only "use" it for a bit and then go back to
the niv. However after reading the information you had supplied I was
appauled at the deletions and as I had been reading the KJAV for a few days
had seen the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus growing in my heart in a way
that I had never felt before while reading the niv. I have resolved to NEVER
EVER go back to that evil translation again!!! I would like to share that
the King James is not difficult to read AT ALL as I had been afraid it would
be. It so much more clearly shows how much God loves us and the tenderness
with which Jesus ministered that the niv completely butchered. I now love
the Lord more than ever and have resolved to tell as many people as I can
about this as the church I attend is currently using who knows how many
versions and quotiong the message bible which I always found to be less than
readable. Please if you can post this for just a few weeks so others who may
be seeking can see that it does matter!!! I will say that that the niv DOES
pervert even the TONE with which the Bible was written, making our kind and
loving Lord out to be some evil taskmaster!!! Thank You God for opening my
eyes before it was too late!!! And thank to you Tracy for being courageous
enough to stand up for what is right!!! God Bless!
