STAY IN THE WORD
Dear Friends:
Greetings in the name of the ONLY wise God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Can I warn the feebleminded and those that have no word abiding in them?
Can I warn the lukewarm and careless ones? The devil WILL SIFT YOU you
as wheat. I've seen the results today. It is 9:46 am on a Friday
morning. There is a man downstairs who did some electrical work for us
here. At the end of business my husband began witnessing to him. I took
the baby outside and prayed with her about what was going on. As we
played my husband came out and told me to come in that there may be
something for the website as I heard from this man.
The man claimed that he had been a Baptist pastor for seven years. He
went on to say many strange and blasphemous things. He took us to
Romans chapter 1 and he told the truth about some things. I said, "Do
you believe everything is God?" He said "Yes." I looked to my husband
and told him "eastern mysticism". Then the man went on to talk about
God's real name. I said, "Hebrew roots". That man started going from
error to error. He said Jerome wrote the King James Bible. I told him
that wasn't true but it was if he could not hear a word I said. He
didn't want to. That deceiving spirit kept driving him to tell lies.
When he said "God does not have many names, the devil does." I put my
hands to my head and I had to go. I wanted my husband to tell him to go
outside and finish filling out the paperwork.
I went to the basement and prayed.
And some things came to my mind as I did.
********EAT THE MANNA AND BE HAPPY ABOUT IT**********
Professed Christians don't want to read the word. They read a verse
here or there but they don't care for too much Bible reading. Anything
BUT the word. They'll spend hours watching hellivision,
reading the newspaper, surfing the 'net, playing video games or
anything else. The word bores them. They are like Israel that loathed
the heavenly manna that God gave them to eat--
Numbers 21:5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses,
Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness?
for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul LOATHETH
this light bread.
They didn't want God's nourishment. They wanted the leeks and onions of
Egypt. Professed Christians don't want to live by every WORD that
proceedeth out of the mouth of God and they want the sins of spiritual
Egypt. They want slavery. They live like homeborn slaves. Weak and
powerless. God will send those fiery serpents to eat you up too.
That electrician that was in our house had brains like scrambled eggs.
SOFT scrambled eggs. When you start looking for your pleasure and your
wisdom outside of the word, the devil will CHEW YOU UP. That is what I
witnessed today. Of course, I have received many emails from people who
refuse the heavenly manna, the word, and they are hereticks of the first
order. When you get one toe off of the word you may as well be a
thousand miles away.
>I remember my husband had a friend here who was hungry and I gave him
food. We talked of the things of the Lord and he said something that put
me on alert. I asked him about I Corinthians 5:11. I said, "If the word
says not to even keep company with a fornicator that calls himself a
brother, would you eat with him anyway?" He had a serious look on his
face and said "Yes." That backed me up. I was afraid of him. The man
said to me, "I used to be like you," as if he had grown out of strictly
obeying the Bible. He went on, "I see that the heart of the law is love
and mercy." As if the I Corinthians 5:11 admonition was not loving.
People don't understand what love is. The Bible tells us EXACTLY what
love is. LOVE IS KEEPING THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD. THAT IS WHAT LOVE
IS. Well, this man talked with my husband a few months later, he had
gone back to smoking dope and who knows what else.
*************BE COLD OR HOT**************
For all the lukewarms--
Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I
would thou wert cold or hot.
3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I
will spue thee out of my mouth.
It is good to be hot or cold. Hot with great zeal and desire for the
King or cold recognizing that you are hellbound and need some help. The
lukewarm says, "I know about the Lord" and then don't do nothing He
says. "Why call ye me 'Lord, Lord' and do not the things I say?"
************THE ELECTRICIAN***************
My husband just came up and told me that as the electrician left, my
husband told him to believe the word and that he would know the truth
and the truth would make him free.
My friends, labour in the word and in doctrine. It is EXTREMELY
PROFITABLE. As Paul told Timothy--
1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them;
that thy profiting may appear to all.
4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them:
for in doing this THOU SHALT BOTH SAVE THYSELF, AND THEM THAT HEAR THEE.
As we stay in the word, as we meditate on the word, as we live the word,
our profiting will appear to all men. The doctrine of Jesus Christ will
be PROVED by our lives. As we take heed to ourselves and how we line up
with the doctrine, we will save ourselves and them that hear us. As we
study and continue in the doctrine life, love, peace, joy will abound in
us and those around us will want the same. This is not poetry, this is
truth.
