Sacrifice in unbloody manner. The sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are one single sacrifice: "The victim is one and the same: the same now offers through the ministry of priest, who then offered himself on the cross; only the manner of offering is different." In this divine sacrifice which is celebrated in the Mass, the same Christ who offered himself once in a bloody manner on the altar of the cross is contained and is offered in an unbloody manner." (#1367, p.381)	Sacrifice in bloody manner. If it's the sacrifice of Jesus, it cannot be done in an "unbloody manner." According to the Bible: "and without the shedding of blood there is no remission." -Heb. 9:22 The victim (Always Jesus Christ. By the way, "host" is another name for the Eucharist. The Latin word for "host" is ""hostia" which literally means "victim") is not one and the same, and never will be no matter who offers it. What happened at Calvary was a ONE time historical event and accomplished its purpose: "For by ONE OFFERING he HATH PERFECTED for ever them that are sanctified." -Heb.10:14
Jesus sacrificed often. "When the Church celebrates the Eucharist, she commemorates Christ's Passover, and it is made present. As often as the sacrifice of the Cross by which Christ our Pasch has been sacrificed is celebrated on the altar, the word of our redemption is carried out." (Pg. 380, #1364) "Every time this mystery is celebrated, 'the work of our redemption is carried on'..." (Pg. 393, #1405)	Jesus sacrificed one time. (a) According to the Bible, our redemption to put away sin was a ONE TIME ACT which was completed at the cross, and it is said to be FINISHED: "...by now ONCE in the end of the world hath he [Jesus] appeared TO PUT AWAY SIN by the sacrifice of himself." -Heb. 9:26 "By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL." -Heb. 9:26 "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, IT IS FINISHED:" -John 19:30 (b) This sacrifice is NEVER TO BE REPEATED DAILY: "Who NEEDETH NOT DAILY, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did ONCE, when he offered up himself." -Heb. 7:27 (c) The Bible specifically states that Christ's death was a ONE TIME EVENT: "So Christ was ONCE offered to bear the sins of many..." -Heb. 9:28 "But this man, after he had offered ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS FOR EVER, sat down on the right hand of God;" -Heb. 10:12 "For Christ also hath ONCE suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit." -! Peter 3:18 (d) Jesus Christ does not remain present in the sacrifice of the Mass. There can no longer be an re-enactment of His sacrifice and death. Christ is risen and alive and sits at the right hand of the Father! "Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin ONCE; but in that he LIVETH, HE LIVETH UNTO GOD." -Rom. 6:9,10 "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not: I am the first and the last: I am he THAT LIVETH, and was dead; and, behold, I AM ALIVE FOR EVERMORE," -Rev. 1:17,18 "But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the RIGHT HAND OF GOD;" -Heb. 10:12 (e) The work of our redemption is not carried out. Jesus said it is finished. One does not keep working on what has already been accomplished at the cross, the forgiveness of sins. "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, IT IS FINISHED:.." -John 19:30 "...when he had by himself PURGED our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high." -Heb. 1:3 "So Christ was ONCE OFFERED to bear the sins of many;" -Heb. 9:28 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" -Col. 1:14 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." -Rom. 5:1 "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly." -Rom. 5:6 "And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement." -Rom. 5:11
Worship a piece of bread and some wine as Jesus. "....we express our faith in the real presence of Christ under the species of bread and wine by, among other ways, genuflecting or bowing deeply as a sign of adoration of the Lord. (#1378, p.385)	Do not worship objects. This is clearly condoning the worship of an object which is forbidden in the second commandment. God has clearly forbidden the worship of any images, and even those which are intended to represent Him or any art to do with the Godhead. "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is IN HEAVEN above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:" -Ex. 20:5 "I am the LORD: that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither MY PRAISE to GRAVEN IMAGES." -Isa. 42:8 "We ought not to think the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, GRAVEN BY ART..." -Acts 17:29
Bread & wine help dead people into heaven. The Eucharistic sacrifice is also offered for the faithful departed who have died in Christ but are not yet wholly purified, so that they may be able to enter into the light and peace of Christ. (#1371, p. 382).	It's too late for dead people. (a) Don't wait to get right with the real Jesus. It's too late once you are dead, for then comes judgment: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this THE JUDGMENT." -Heb. 9:27 (b) The eucharist is based a "tradition of men." The Bible tells us God sent His only begotten Son to be the Saviour of the world. "But AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." -John 1:12 There is a difference between "universal provision," (Saviour of the world) and "INDIVIDUAL APPLICATION" (as many as received Him). In other words, Jesus paid the price, but you've got to accept it.
Redemption is on-going. Every time this mystery is celebrated, "the work of our redemption is carried on"..." (#1405, p. 393). Christ's blood was poured out for our sins at the last supper.	Redemption complete in Jesus. (a) Again, the Bible says the sacrificial work of redemption is FINISHED. Oh, how the Bible stresses these important facts: On the cross Jesus cried,"It is finished" (John 19:30). He died ONCE (Heb. 7:27, 9:26, 10:12,14), NEVER to be repeated (Rom. 6:9-10; Heb. 10:10); and, THEN SAT DOWN (Heb. 1:3, 10:12; Rev. 3:21). If you don't believe this, then you are bound to a system that is of Satan. You will forever remain in bondage and fear for the eternal destiny of your soul based on the tradition of men. If you think Jesus is a piece of bread or a statue, you'll go to hell. (b) Being saved involves no work. No masses to be said, no rosaries, no personal sacrifices, no confessions to a priest to ensure your salvation. "For by GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH, and that not OF YOURSELVES: it is the GIFT OF GOD; NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast." (Eph. 2:8-9)
Jesus is trapped in a tiny box. The tabernacle is to be situated "in church in a most worthy place with the greatest of honor. The dignity, placing, and security of the Eucharistic tabernacle should foster adoration before the Lord really present in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar." (#1183, p. 335).	Jesus lives in heaven. This flies in the face of Scripture itself: "Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, HEAVEN IS MY THRONE, AND EARTH IS MY FOOTSTOOL; WHAT HOUSE WILL YE BUILD ME? SAITH THE LORD: OR WHAT IS THE PLACE OF MY REST? -Acts 7:48,49
The eucharist is Jesus. The Eucharist presence of Christ begins at the moment of the consecration and endures as long as the Eucharist species subsist. (#1377, p. 385)	The eucharist ain't Jesus. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts and creeping things. Test the Eucharist. If the Eucharist is to be the ACTUAL body and blood of Jesus Christ at the moment of consecration, then it should not decay. "He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, NEITHER DID HIS FLESH SEE CORRUPTION." "For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, NEITHER WILT THOU SUFFER THINE HOLY ONE TO SEE CORRUPTION." -Psalm 16:10 Has the priest ever left the bread (body of Christ) long enough to see if it breeds mold and worms? If it does, it is NOT the Body of Christ! Please don't be deceived. Believe Jesus died for your sins and He now sits at the right hand of God. Don't believe for one moment that mere men can lock Him up in buildings all over the world.

To Think About...

I would like to quote a famous Catholic writer, John O'Brien, in "The Faith of Millions", (1974, p. 255-56).

"When the priest announces the tremendous words of consecration, he reaches up into the heavens, brings Christ down from His throne, and places himself upon our altar to be offered up again as the Victim for the sins of man...the priest brings Christ down from heaven, and renders Him present on our altar as the eternal Victim for the sins of man...not once but a thousand times!

Can you imagine? Christ is a comsic servant who bows His head in humble obedience to the priest's commands! What blasphemy!!!

"Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is to bring Christ down from above:)" -Rom. 10:6

The Eucharist, which according to the Roman Catholic church, represents the real presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, is in a worthy place called the "tabernacle." They keep the wafer god in a little box and tell children "Go talk to Jesus for He is lonely in there!" I was watching a mass on the Catholic channel and the moderator whispered, "If you can't receive Jesus right now, you can pray..." Lord have mercy! How can anyone who believes this stuff be less than hellbound?

Not according to God's word:

"Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, HEAVEN IS MY MY THRONE, and the earth my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?" -Acts 7:48,49

I would like to share an excerpt from an article in the Catholic Review (May 10, 1995, p. A-10), which a person shares her testimony:

"About two years ago, my husband and myself went to St. Leo's Church in Little Italy and were asked to take up the host and the wine to present to the priest during Mass. My husband picked up the gold plate with the host the size of a half-dollar and I carried the wine. As we both started up the aisle with the gifts, a pencil-thin light hit us in the eyes, forcing us to look downward at the host. The host began to breathe, started pulsating, and moved slowly off the gold plate in a circulating motion. We both couldn't believe our eyes, it was the living, breathing body of Christ, alive for us to clearly see. As we presented the host and wine to the priest, our hearts were pounding with the actually seeing a "true miracle." We returned back to our seats and compared notes, we both saw the same thing. How truly honored we felt. Please relay this truth that "the Eucharist" is alive with Christ's own body and blood."

Now this is really amazing when the act of transubstantiation (consecration) had not been performed yet! How could the editor of the Catholic Review have missed that!! If she really did see something, it was her mind playing tricks on her or her resident devils having a little fun.
