New Versions Say Jesus is in Danger of the Judgment

The following is an e-mail from one of our readers who used to use a number of different Bible versions. He turned to the AKJV when he was shown what appears at first to be an innocuous change--but in actuality, it could be faith-shattering if you didn't know what the AKJV said. I'll let our reader explain...

. . . . . . . . .

I just found your web site the other night and have had a great time exploring the truths you have placed on it. Praise God! for your courage to take a stand for the AKJV. About a month ago, I finally responded to God's call to leave the Lutheran Church. I was moved by the Holy Spirit to worship and fellowship at [a Bible church]...In the short time I have been there, my eyes have been opened to the truths I had so long ignored. This is due, in part, to the fact that the pastor is a teacher not a preacher. The biggest change, for me, has been the using of the AKJV instead of the myriad of other versions I had been sifting through.

What turned me around to the AKJV was when I was shown one simple, seemingly innocent change. In Matthew 5:22, Jesus says, "But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment." However, the newer versions eliminate "without a cause". Now, to the average person this may not seem to be an earth shaking event, yet it is. When we take a look at Mark 3:5 we get our answer. Here the Bible says, "And when he (Jesus) looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts."

If we follow the KJV we see nothing unusual because Jesus did indeed have a cause to be angry: ". . .the hardness of their hearts." But, if we use the NIV or others that have changed the verse from Matthew, then Jesus himself is in danger of the judgment. How can this happen? Satanic influence of the most subtle kind. Change a verse here and there and let the people interpret it any way they wish [talk to me!].

My eyes have been opened to this form of satanic interference and I hope and pray that you will continue in your efforts to expose the various forms of satanic influence in the church today, thus others might gently be led back to the only truth that matters.

God Bless,
