A few weeks ago, some JWs came by knocking on the door. I think they heard us in here because they kept aggressively knocking for about 1-2 minutes. We didn't feel like talking to them and we obeyed the flesh. We waited them out and then later on repented before God that we didn't open the door. My husband prayed for us and told the Lord we would answer the door from now on, so I'm bound to open it which is good. Those JWs were unsaved people coming directly to our house and we did not give them the words of life. Shame on us. As a result of my stiffneckedness, sin, and repentance, the Lord led me to put together a few thoughts so that when the JWs come back, I'll have my points at hand. I printed out my thoughts and am putting them in the hall tree in the foyer. Perhaps these thoughts will help some other soulwinner to open the door even when they don't feel like it. So I formatted the document for the web-- http://www.jesus-is-lord.com/jws.htm. On another note, for those who are ordering your tracts and Bibles for Halloween, remember you can pass out any extras next year and also in the interim. Many of us have continuing tract ministries. I leave a tract with the tip in the restaurant (if you don't leave tips, I suggest you don't leave a tract), I leave them in telephone booths, if I'm talking to someone I'll give them one, my husband gives them out while soulwinning, etc. When servicemen come to the house, I give them one. Sometimes as they leave I say, "I give tracts to all my friends" and hand them a tract and/or a Bible. I try to keep them handy near the door. May Christ and His doctrine be magnified in us. for Jesus' sake, tracy -- http://www.jesus-is-lord.com ...I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
