I hope that each person reading these words is doing well in the Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus gave my husband and I a great trip to the King James Bible conference. We just got back on the 28th. As some of you know, we are producing a local tv show so we are preparing to put our findings on the air as well as the 'net. There is so much information, bless God for His faithful remnant! The conference afforded us the opportunity to hear more apologetics on the King James Bible (the blatant contradictions in modern Bibles blew my mind), it allowed us to fellowship with likeminded brethern, to view ancient Bibles, and to interview some of the folks who are working hard to defend the word of God. This e-mail is the fruit of one of the tracts that I picked up at the conference. The name of the tract is, "What our schools are FORBIDDEN to teach us is destroying us!" We receive all kinds of e-mails here-- from folks who are involved in the most abominable activities to the sanctified, walking-with-the-Lord saints (hallelujah and bless God). One thing I have noticed is a large number of atheists, pagans, and wiccans writing here. Instead of them being 'shame of their wickedness, they boast! They speak hard against the Lord's people. I saw a bumper sticker, on a car, some time ago which touted that the owner was a witch. No shame. I have seen a sticker in car windows that looks like a "No Smoking" sign, but it has the cross of Jesus in it. Sickos are everywhere. A professing druid wrote here talking about exposing me to his friends (big deal they can't do anything against the One that dwelleth in me). Christian, you have nothing to fear from these people. Devils are SCARED of Jesus--if you don't believe me, read the Bible. They were always tremblin' and beggin' and obeyin' when Jesus came around. Anyway, on to our question, "Why are there so many atheists, pagans, and witches nowadays?" Let's talk about PUBLIC EDUCATION. I want to share with you some quotes made by men who were born in the 1800s and who predicted the ungodly educational system we have today... A.A. Hodge (1823-1886), Princeton University professor, predicted that the U.S. school system, "Will be the most efficient and wide instrument for the propogation of atheism which the world has ever seen." Alright, okay? Next... ***Nicholas Murray Butler (1862-1947), President of Columbia University, "In this day and age we are beginning to forget the place which religious instruction must occupy in education if that educations to be TRULY sound and LIBERAL. We seem to forget that until some two hundred years ago religious instruction everywhere dominated education: religion guided education, shaped education, and selected the material for education...Then particularly in this democracy of ours, A CURIOUS TENDENCY grew up to exclude religious teaching altogether from education on the ground that such teaching was in conflict with our fundamental doctrine of separation of Church and State...THE RESULT WAS TO GIVE PAGANISM NEW IMPORTANCE AND NEW INFLUENCE..." We must have a moral code in order to be truly free! What kind of football game would have no end zone or sidelines? It would be no game and no one would pay to see it! Unintersting. What if you went to math class and each student made up his own rules? Mathematics would be no science as there would be no guidelines just chaos. How much more so with morality? As my grandmother would say, "People just doin' eva-va-ree thang!" And they still ain't satisfied. A man "marrying" a man. A woman "marrying" a woman. A man getting an operation to look like a woman. Ridiculous and insane. The perverse tell the Bible-believing Christian that he is crazy--nay, THEY are crazy just like the Bible says, "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a REPROBATE MIND." I love the Bible. It illuminates everything and we don't have to be deceived by evil men. Next... ***Anson Phelps Stokes (1874-1958) American author, canon and secretary of Yale University, "The general absence of religion in the curriculum of our public schools...is a result of our TRANSFER from church to state during the past century and a half of the major task of molding the minds and characters of our children...We have seen a momentous change grom religiously controlled to politically controlled teaching for the mass of youth." ...[This] "makes the elimination of religion all the more serious, especially because of the psychological effect of this noticeable ommission on students." What are the psychological effects of eliminating religious instruction from public education? (I'd probably call it spiritual effects, but I know what he means.) Since the 60s crime is up 400%, teen suicide through the roof, drugs, abortions, depression, "therapy", mood altering drugs, divorce, premarital sex, single family homes, sexually transmitted disease rampant, serial killers, sodomy and other unnatural behaviour, guilty criminals going scot free because of legal errors, people staying on death row 25 years, kids disrespecting their elders and killing their parents, profantity, perversity, pornography, snuff films, child abuse, SIN!! Oh, so in our "technological" age science has all the answers, uh? Wrong! When you attempt to divorce American science, education, society, morals, and government from the Lord Jesus Christ who gave us our greatness, you get chaos. Science DOES NOT HAVE THE ANSWERS, THAT IS CLEAR. Some folks have no choice but to put their kids in public school. If you are a Christian with a child in public school I exhort you to take interest in what your child is taught and provide strong biblical study and guidance at home. Your child needs and depends on you. For Jesus' sake, Sis. Tracy -- http://www.jesus-is-lord.com I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. Ezekiel 2:4, 6
