Repent and get washed in the blood of Jesus and it will be for you.] Dear Christian Friends: Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. *****King James VI & I***** A few years ago a former-nun-turned-saint gave me a book by Stephen Coston entitled, "King James Unjustly Accused?" In it, I learned that many people accuse King James of being a sodomite when he was not. I had never heard that before but as soon as I had almost finished the book somebody wrote me saying King James was a sodomite. The ways of the Lord are PAST finding out. Well, after that the Lord gave me an intense interest in King James, the man. His name is on our beloved King James 1611. With the inspiration of Bro. Coston and his publisher/illustrator Bro. Richard Neumeier, the Lord had me to create His Majestie King James VI & I Page. It is like a little website within a website. You can find it at http://www.jesus-is-lord.com/kinginde.htm We have a biography on the king, interesting facts about him, writings by the king, articles by Bro. Coston (these are copyrighted, please do not copy these to your website without permission from Bro. Coston), and more. Homeschoolers can find some material here that they can use in their history studies. King James was a soulwinner and he stood against Romanism. Bro. Coston has written an excellent treatise on this entitled, "King James and Papal Opposition". It is reviewed on His Majestie's Page. *****Praise***** Over the past few months, the Lord has been putting His praise continually in my mouth. Hebrews 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the SACRIFICE OF PRAISE to God CONTINUALLY, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Praise is comely for the upright. Psalms 33:1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. We can speak praise (Heb. 13:15), sing praise (Paul & Silas in Acts 16;25), and live praise (by keeping God's commandments ref. Phi. 1:11). We can praise Him with a loud voice. Somebody must praise the Lord for His goodness, otherwise the stones will do it! He is too good to go without the praise due His holy name. Luke 19:39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. 19:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. God inhabits the praises of His people Israel. Who is the Israel of God but those that put their trust in Him as did their father Abraham, the father of faith, the father of many nations? Psalms 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. God loves the praises of His people and He is o so worthy of ALL the praise. Psalms 107:8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! Last night after working at the new church, my husband came in and we talked. He chuckled as he brought up an incident that occurred in our kitchen last week...I was trying to explain something to him about how tired I was, but he could not seem to hear my words even though he was standing right there looking at me. Then some words spilled out of my mouth. I said something like this, "Praise the Lord, hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. You can't hear a word I'm saying. Praise Him. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Glory." As I was saying it, my husband started smiling and so did I. I've been praising the Lord so much lately that praise stays on my lips. Do you know that he heard me after hearing my praise? No need to get bent out of shape. Whatever the situation, give God the glory and thank Him for His goodness. He is reality. He is transcendant. He is "I AM". He is eternal, He is God. He is good. He is the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. The first and the last. He sent us the VERY BEST He had--His precious, precious Son. Our hope flowed from HIS VEINS. If the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. The only begotten of the Father has released us from the bondage of spiritual Egypt. We can THANK HIM for that at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 In EVERY THING GIVE THANKS: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. I have a bed here in my office and it has a deadly corner on it that will bust your leg wide open if you are not careful. Well, we were in here (about to listen to Unshackled! I believe) and I hit my leg on that thing. What immediately came out as I fell on the bed? "Praise Him!" God is near to a broken, contrite, repentant heart. When I go to church, I basically ask the Lord to forgive me of my sins and to let me hear from Him. As we sing in the holy congregation, we lift up our voices (loud) in hymns of thanksgiving and praise. When I hear the word of the Lord preached from the King James 1611, the Spirit is searching my inward parts so that I am exhorted, edified, and rebuked. He makes me want to exalt Christ. He makes me want to speak kindly and honestly with all men. He makes me want to lift up others and look for ways edify them. Psalms 107:8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! 107:15 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! 107:21 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! 107:31 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! *****MESSAGE BOARD***** We were having some problems with the message board, but it appears that they've been worked out. http://www.insidetheweb.com/mbs.cgi/mb946820 for Jesus' sake, tracy -- http://www.jesus-is-lord.com ...I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
