The scriptures say as much. Simply means that we'll obtain a better resurrection--and our blood will still cry from the ground as a witness against you! :o) Repent or perish. for Jesus' sake, tracy -- http://www.jesus-is-lord.com ...I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. Ezekiel 2:4, 6 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Gentle reader, I don't know where you stand today. I don't know if you're ready to die for Jesus or if you think you will escape tribulation. Those who think tribulation is in the future need to read their Bibles more closely. Jesus said, These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. IN THE WORLD YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 Here in America, many Christians think that we are going to continue in this life all comfy-cozy-fat-and-lazy never to see any real action. Our idea of persecution is a flat tire. All woe unto us! The sleeping elect needs to be aroused from its smug slumber. Tribulation has been upon God's people for centuries. The end of the great faith chapter (Hebrews 11) says this about our forefathers in the faith-- 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. 11:34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were TORTURED, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 11:36 And others had TRIAL OF CRUEL MOCKINGS AND SCOURGINGS, yea, moreover of BONDS AND IMPRISONMENT: 11:37 They were STONED, they were SAWN ASUNDER, were TEMPTED, were SLAIN WITH THE SWORD: THEY WANDERED ABOUT in sheepskins and goatskins; BEING DESTITUTE, AFFLICTED, TORMENTED; 11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) THEY WANDERED in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Most American Christians believe in what many call a "pretribulation rapture". They believe that they will escape the great tribulation. The idea of being slain for not taking the mark of the beast does not occur to them because they believe we'll be "raptured" (the Bible term is caught up, not rapture) before it gets "too" tough. Know ye not that tribulation purifies the elect? You don't sharpen a knife on a cotton ball--you use something hard. For those who think it is heresy for me to tell you what the Bible says about tribulation, let this sink down into your ears, "For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, NOT ONLY to believe on him, but also to SUFFER for his sake;" Philippians 1:29. Are you suffering today? Are you willing to suffer? Do a word study on "suffer" and "tribulation" and see what you see. American Christians somehow think that they are going to be exempt from the evil days ahead. They've confused the wrath of God with the wrath of the DEVIL. Many say that I Thessalonians 5:9 is proof that we will not see tribulation. That is NOT what that scripture says. Look with clear eyes-- I Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to WRATH, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, There is a day coming when the wrath of God will be poured out on an evil, rebellious, crooked, lawless, disobedient, wicked generation. It is called "The Day of the Lord". Jesus likens that coming day to the days of Lot and Noah. GOD'S WRATH WILL BE POURED OUT. And like Lot and Noah we will escape God's wrath. WE ARE NOT APPOINTED UNTO GOD'S WRATH. But beloved, it is more than obvious that we've been appointed unto the devil's wrath. That scripture in Hebrews 11 gives a little overview of what we've come through and what we will continue to go through. Yea, there are evil days coming unlike the world has ever, or will ever, see. Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for THE DEVIL is come down unto you, having great WRATH, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. I don't need any hyper-dispensationalist sending me a copy of Larkin's book. That shows me right there you have to go outside of the Bible to "prove" your position. I've looked at these claims and found them weak and wanting. HDs have told me that the books of Matthew and Hebrews were written EXCLUSIVELY for the Jews--I could not believe they were telling me that. So-called Bible believers. Why do these people try to explain away these books? Because they totally destroy their pre-tribulation rapture theology. A theology that has been carefully constructed over the last 100 years or so. No one can come to the hyper-dispensationalist viewpoint simply by reading the scriptures. A man has to teach it to you...oh-oh. It is high time for the sleeping elect to open its eyes. Tribulation is now (oh that you could ask the martyrs of modern day China and other places of the globe) and it is getting worse. Take heed to what you learn and what you teach your children because they may wake up one day and see that the "pre-tribulation rapture theory" was a house built on sand-- and when the rain descends, and the floods come, and the winds blow, and beat upon that house; it will fall: and GREAT will be the fall of it. What would you do if you saw the days of the Beast? Are you prepared to hide in caves and dens? Are your children prepared or are they too busy playing with occultic Pokemon and reading Goosebumps? Have you been lulled into a false sense of security? If so, closely inspect Matthew 24 and then start overlaying it with Revelation, Joel, Isaiah, the gospels, II Peter, II Thessalonians, Zephaniah, Zechariah...just start with these. Get a pad of paper and write down what you see. You've heard the mainstream theology, now prove, or disprove, it for yourself. Many are going to be mad about this e-mail and all I can tell you is that the unsubscribe instructions should be at the bottom of this e-mail. The same people who want to school other people are oftentimes the most resistant to hearing a truth that goes against the grain of their own doctrine. One man was asked, "What is your doctrine?" to which he responded, "The King James Bible." Aaaamen. Don't give me all these extra-biblical teachings. Give me Bible. That's it. Not commentaries, books, interlinears, etc. Prove your doctrine straight from the word, not reading into it things that are not there. When it comes to this "pre-tribulation rapture" everything all of a sudden gets cloudy and all of a sudden the New Testament has to be explained by the Old, particularly "Daniel's 70th week"--wrong answer. Start with the New Testament and then explain the passages of the Old Testament. And then don't just park on Daniel, overlay all relevant prophecies. To some, the above advice to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES concerning the "pre-tribulation rapture theory", will be tantamount to heresy. Please, I'm not interested in your flames, please just unsubscribe.
