Subject: Thanks for helping me denounce catholicism.

I have been blessed by reading your website. I regularly visit your website
to
read about the facts of catholicism.  Nothing in the catholic religion is
devinely inspired by God.  They are merely just man made traditions by for
some
reason was set up as a selfish scheme.  being catholic actually made me
think I
will never see heaven.  The most heartbreaking thing about the catholic
religion is that they don't use the Bible as the final authourity in their
belief.

I always questioned the traditions of the catholic church from the very
beginning since my parents forced me to memorize prayers such as "Hail
Mary" "Apostles Creed" and the "Act of Contrition".  Then comes the
memorization of catecism in which I dreaded memorizing things such as the
following never made any sense to me: transsubstansiation, confirmation,
penance, veneration of icons, praying for the dead, the rosary.  There was
my
ultimate question of the catholic church:  Why does "bible study" stop after
confirmation.  In every catholic church I have visited never had continuing
christian education.  As a matter of fact some so-called religious catholics
just think that joining in a ministry would keep them "holy" but all it
appears
to me that these catholic traditions just merely have a severe abscence of
Jesus Christ and "the virgin mary" the saints, processsions, adoration of
the
eucharist, rosary prayer period completely substituted His glory which had
confused me even more that because of all of these substitutions just gave
me a
one-word message: polytheism.  I was taught that there is one God but why
all
of these additions?

I had a few friends that tried to witness to me but because I never opened
my
eyes to the truth, I was still literally lost in my faith in God.  So it
totally made me just confused even more.  But as I bought a King James Bible
at
a dollar store ( Just a dollar) the holy spirit led me to going to a church
that firmly believed in the Bible.  I am now saved and know that the Holy
Bible
is the final authority to a true christian believer.  Thanks for opening my
eyes to what the Bible says about going to heaven.
